Springfield Airport Authority Hosts Illinois Airport Maintenance Association Fall Conference

springfield, illinois……The Springfield Airport Authority hosted the Illinois Airport Maintenance Association Fall Conference October 12-13, 2022.   Nearly a dozen airports from across the state and numerous product vendors and service providers attended the two-day conference in Springfield.  The conference agenda provided participants the opportunity to learn more about airfield pavement and lighting maintenance methods, preparing for regulatory inspections, safety practices while operating heavy equipment, managing airfield conditions during inclement weather events, and maintaining regulatory requirements and obligations that are critical to operating safe airfields.  Professional networking sessions and tours of the Levi Ray and Shoup, Inc. Aviation Center at LLCC, StandardAero and Air Combat Museum were also provided for the delegates.
